The surface of this work is inspired by the White Baneberry, colloquially known as Dolls Eyes. I like the idea of these berries as characters in a story, interacting as you turn the pot.
Each piece is made with midrange porcelain, decorated with black and red underglaze using Mishima and flat painting. They are food safe and each teapot features a locking lid and a handle at the base to assist with pouring.
